As part of their recent introduction to the letter hei, the kindergarten boys at Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe enjoyed an exciting visit from Chevra Hatzolah of Queens and Great Neck. Rabbi Godick, a dedicated Hatzalah volunteer and father of student Aharon Yonah, brought the iconic bright yellow ambulance to the Yeshiva.
On Monday, December 9, and Thursday, December 12, the Grade 6 Boys and Girls visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Ancient Egypt Exhibit. Students engaged with the material they are learning about in Mrs. Howitt’s Social Studies class and saw ancient artifacts first-hand.

Mr. Jarrod Mittan joined the Yeshiva Har Torah family in February 2023 as Operations Manager. In this role, Mr. Mittan serves as a key support to the Executive Director, Mr. Ephi Strazynski, and helps to manage the institution’s growing operational needs, including all aspects of facilities management across both campuses. With extensive professional experience and a commitment to excellence, Mr. Mittan has quickly become an integral member of the internal team and, by extension, a valued part of the broader Yeshiva Har Torah community.
The Model Chinuch League, now in its second year, recently held an event at Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls in Teaneck, New Jersey. The league was founded under the guidance of Rambam Mesivta’s Principal, Mr. Hillel Goldman, with the goal of inspiring students to pursue careers in chinuch and teaching, to address the growing gap of young professionals not entering the field. The league provides students with a glimpse into the challenges and rewards of a teaching career and a life in chinuch.
