On February 2, 2025, as the sun rises over Miami, more than 25,000 runners from every corner of the world will take on the annual Miami Marathon. For some, it’s a personal goal; for others, it’s a chance to push their limits. For a special group running with Amudim, it’s a race that symbolizes hope, resilience, and the chance to rewrite lives.

If one stepped outside into the yard this past Monday, he would have witnessed a group of boys from Rabbi Jakubovics’ third-grade class last year at Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe enjoying a delicious gourmet barbecue luncheon. The tasty spread included classic favorites like juicy burgers, savory hot dogs, crisp pickles, golden fries, and refreshing Snapple drinks.

Last week, Yeshiva of Central Queens students participated in a thrilling Spelling Bee. The special event was a celebration of skill and determination, leaving the students buzzing with pride.

The Eretz Chemdah program at Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe is off to a wonderful start for the fifth-grade classes of Rabbi Levine and Rabbi Lisker. This innovative initiative allows the talmidim to connect with rebbeim in Eretz Yisrael via Zoom twice a month for engaging and interactive lessons. These live sessions explore themes such as k’dushas ha’aretz and mitzvos ha’teluyos ba’aretz, bringing the sanctity and unique mitzvos of the Land of Israel to life.

On Tuesday, November 25, the Yeshiva University High School for Girls (Central) was thrilled to welcome leadership from its parent institution, Yeshiva University, to the Holliswood campus for a site visit. Dr. Rebecca Cypess, the new dean of Yeshiva College and the Stern College for Women, and Professor Shoshana Schechter, Associate Dean of Torah Studies and Spiritual Life at YU, visited the school at a pivotal time, as Central has recently instituted several new pathway initiatives that will enable its students to begin their relationship with YU while still in high school.
