Over 50 Emet students and staff gathered this past weekend for an unforgettable Shabbaton in Passaic, New Jersey. The experience was organized for students in Emet’s Fresh Meadows Fellowship, an introductory program that meets Monday evenings and welcomes participants from multiple local campuses, including Queens College, St. John’s University, Adelphi University, Baruch College, New York Institute of Technology, and others. As the first Shabbaton of the semester, there was a mix of spirituality, friendship, and personal growth that left everyone deeply inspired.
