When victory appears so close at hand, perhaps that’s why there are many Israelis who do not want hostage negotiations to succeed if it comes at the cost of keeping Hamas in power and giving in to its demands. Likewise, there is disregard for the opinions of Israel’s trade partners and political allies. Then there was this week’s storming of the Sde Teiman military detention facility in southern Israel, which holds many terrorists from Gaza.
It took 24 days from showing the world how mentally incapable he was for Joe Biden to announce that he is no longer running for President. In doing so, Biden cemented his legacy and threw a wrench in the Republican campaign against him. What is that legacy, however, and what will the campaign for the next President look like now?

Shots were fired at former President Donald Trump, and only through a miracle did he survive them. By now, everyone must have seen the footage of the assassination attempt, and the quick head tilt that was the difference between having a nominating convention this week or a Civil War. It was a shocking moment in American history, but for anyone who has paid attention in the last decade, it is not surprising.
