Junior high school students at SINAI at YCQ researched and presented projects highlighting landmarks of both Jewish and general interest in Philadelphia - and in the process, bringing American history to life!
Bnos Malka Academy will be hosting its 28th Annual Dinner on May 21 at Da Mikelle Palazzo. The school will have the opportunity to celebrate another year of educational excellence while recognizing richly deserving honorees. The Guests of Honor this year are Rabbi Dovid and Mrs. Tova Delman, an outstanding couple with a passion for Jewish outreach.
The students at Lev Chana were excited to come back from Pesach break to discover all the changes in their Grow Torah garden! The children tasted garlic leaves, smelled oregano, and played a game of Mitzvah Bingo in the garden.
In a historic moment for NSHAHS, the boys’ Torah Bowl team clinched their first-ever championship – marking a monumental achievement in the school’s history. Led by Rabbi David Weiss and senior co-captains David Hanan ’24 and Ethan Kohananoo ’24, alongside Oded Azarahian ’24 and Ben Zareh ’24, the team’s undefeated streak (16-0) showcased their exceptional knowledge and teamwork.
The Yeshiva of Central Queens is pleased to announce that Morah Shana Weiss, a beloved Head Nursery Teacher, has been named the Director of the Early Childhood Program, effective July 1.
On Tuesday, April 2, the ninth and tenth grade girls visited the Israel Chesed Center in Hewlett. The students had the opportunity to hear from organizers of the Chesed Center and to learn about their amazing initiatives. One of the speakers included Mrs. Faygie Feder.
