This week we present part 2 of our FAQ column about earthquakes. We started talking about this last week, but we had to stop in middle. But not because of an earthquake.
Ever since I started writing these articles about my personal Yom Tov minhagim, I’ve been surprised by how many people tell me they have the same exact minhagim, despite that no sefer that I’ve seen mentions any of them.
As people who live in the Tri-State area, earthquakes are confusing to us. Our thing is blizzards. Though not recently.
So the recent earthquake left us with a lot of questions, ranging from, “What was that?” to “What if it comes back?”
With more people married this week than there were last week, there are probably more sholom bayis issues in the world than ever before, Baruch Hashem.
For some reason, the hardest mitzvah to remember seems to be Sefiras HaOmer. Which is crazy for a mitzvah that we do 49 times a year.
