So, Macron (France), Starmer (England), Carney (Canada), and Albanese (Australia) all say they have intentions of recognizing a Palestinian state if the Gaza war is not over by September. They all claim that the Two-State Solution is the only solution to the crisis in the Middle East.

First, it is beyond stupid that these governments are rewarding the terror of Hamas with the promise of a state. In fact, the day that Macron announced his decision to recognize a Palestinian state is the day that Hamas stopped negotiating for a ceasefire. Why should they, if their terror efforts are fetching a big prize?

But what do these leaders think a Palestinian state would look like? It would not be the Netherlands or the Bahamas. It will be another front where the Israelis will have to struggle for their lives. That will mean ceaseless war between Israel and its neighbors.

Will the terrorists in Gaza or the West Bank give up their terrorism? Of course not. Furthermore, will that put an end to hostilities between the Gazans and the PLA? It will only heighten their deadly dispute. Won’t Syria and Iran mix in and bring their internal divides to the region?

There was a great opportunity for an independent Palestinian state. It’s called Gaza. In 2005, the Israeli army forcefully evacuated 10,000 Jews living in Gaza with the naïve hope that leaving all of Gaza to the Gazans would bring about a peaceful state for the Arabs. Immediately, they showed their true intentions. Synagogues were plundered and greenhouses were looted for making bombs with their piping.

If October 7 showed anything, it showed how the Palestinians are not interested in peace and scoff at the idea of a Two-State Solution. They want only a One-State Solution, and that does not include Israel.

You may have seen a clip of Alistair Heath, editor of The Sunday Telegraph in Britain. Mr. Heath maintains that the root of the hatred of Jews is a jealousy of all their accomplishments and the fact that they survive despite all the violence they were exposed to throughout the ages. If the Jews can survive, then that is the ultimate proof that G-d is running this world by keeping His promise guaranteeing their eternity. And that is what is driving the world mad.

It is thus understandable that the main hatred of Israel is coming from the Left. The Left abhors success. That is why they wish to penalize millionaires and billionaires. They have succeeded and thus are subject to disdain for being successful and part of the “privileged” class.

Whatever the case may be, the hatred of Jews will continue unabated, no matter how many states are established. The folly of the world is that they simply choose to ignore that.
