We are thrilled to welcome Rabbi Dr. Hal Levy as the new Principal/Menahel of Yeshiva Har Torah. Rabbi Levy’s arrival comes at a time of exciting growth, as he looks to build on the school’s strong infrastructure with fresh energy and a dynamic vision for the future. His innovative approach aligns perfectly with our mission-driven institution, dedicated to excellence in both Jewish and General Studies.
The newly elected JHS Student Government had the privilege of meeting with NY Assemblymember Sam Berger on Monday. Students had the chance to ask Mr. Berger, who represents YCQ’s district, questions about his journey into politics and what it’s like to be a Jewish representative in Albany.
The seventh grade gathered the night before school started so that they would be fully prepared for the first day. There were two sessions.
HALB Middle School girls had their first Big Sister Little Sister program. Our sixth grade “little sisters” got to meet their seventh grade “middle sister” and eighth grade “big sister” and work on a project together. The girls had a great time!
“Grow Torah” is back in full gear at Lev Chana! Students tasted the tomatoes they planted at the end of last year, checked on the carrots and zucchini, and helped pull out radishes.
