The seventh graders at Bnos Malka Academy enjoyed a lively and laughter-filled melaveh malkah this past Motza’ei Shabbos. The evening kicked off with an energetic Zumba session led by Irit Friedman, combining dance and exercise in a fun and upbeat way. The girls then took things up a notch, literally dancing in the dark with glow sticks lighting up the room.
Next came a hilarious and creative game of Human Bingo. Each square on the bingo board featured a unique talent or skill, such as choreographing a dance on the spot or French braiding one’s own hair with eyes closed. Girls filled in their boards by finding classmates who could do each skill, and when someone got four in a row, all the girls in that line had to perform their talents for everyone. Needless to say, there was plenty of cheering and laughter.

No melaveh malkah would be complete without delicious food, and this one certainly did not disappoint. A beautiful meal, prepared by Mrs. Leah Teichman, featured a salad bar, pasta, soup, garlic bread, and of course, ice cream.
The night ended on the perfect note with one last dance together, leaving the girls smiling, singing, and feeling closer than ever. It was truly an evening of fun, friendship, and ruach.
