Record-breaking donations drive its major Capital Campaign to $520 million
closing in on its $613 million goal

Marking a momentous milestone, Rabbi Dr. Ari Berman, President of Yeshiva University, announced that over $100 million was raised as part of a visionary campaign launched in September to celebrate the 100th anniversary of YU’s Hanukkah Dinner. Fueled by this exciting achievement, the university’s major Capital Campaign launched three years ago now stands at $520 million, moving into its final phase towards its ambitious $613 million goal.

The inaugural HSL Youth Boys basketball season concluded in Little Neck with a thrilling championship day sponsored by Main Street favorite Annie’s Kitchen, featuring teams from local yeshivahs, including host Yeshiva Har Torah. The league, serving students from grades 3 to 8, focused on skill-building and sportsmanship, and providing an inclusive environment for all participants.

Chazaq’s director, Rabbi Ilan Meirov, was recently honored with a personal blessing from the newly elected Sefardi Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi David Yosef, during the s’udas mitzvah (festive meal) celebrating his inauguration. The event, which took place in Israel, brought together Jewish leaders from around the world to mark this significant occasion.
