Parshas Ki Seitzei begins with the words: “Ki seitzei la’milchamah al oyvecha – When you go out to war against your enemies.” The Torah reminds us that life itself is full of battles – sometimes external, but often internal. Each of us faces struggles, challenges, and tests, and Hashem assures us that with His help, we can emerge victorious.

Chazal teach that our spiritual battles are just as real as the physical ones. Every mitzvah performed, every t’filah whispered, every kapitel T’hilim recited – is another step toward triumph – bringing blessing and protection not only for ourselves, but for all of klal Yisrael.

In these difficult days, this parshah strengthens us with hope: when we “go out to war” with faith, we are never alone. May our sincere prayers, acts of kindness, and steadfast commitment to Torah bring r’fuah, y’shuah, and n’chamah to our people.
