Over Chol HaMoed Sukkos, MTA filled homes and sukkahs across the tri-state area and beyond with the joy, warmth, and inspiration of Yom Tov. Through an incredible lineup of Tikun Leil Hoshana Rabbah and Simchas Beis HaSho’eivah events, the yeshivah ensured that every talmid could experience the ruach of MTA wherever he spent Sukkos.

The centerpiece of the Yamim Noraim tefillos is the moving U’nesaneh Tokef prayer, added to the Musaf Amidah on Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur. This tefilla describes Hashem sitting in judgment over all creation. At its most dramatic moment, the words are recited: “Repentance, prayer, and charity can sweeten even the harshest decree.”

For two years, students and faculty at HALB have come together to daven for the release of the hostages. Last week, all students and faculty from first through eighth grade joined together to daven, sing, and dance to celebrate all the living hostages coming home. It was an incredibly powerful and moving experience, filled with simchah!

In the days leading up to Yom Kippur and Sukkos, the halls of Bnos Malka Academy were filled with a spirit of inspiration and excitement. Students of all grades prepared with heartfelt t’filos, meaningful lessons, and hands-on activities that helped bring the Yamim Tovim to life.
