On Wednesday evening, April 20, Chazaq, the Queens Jewish Link, the BJL, TorahAnytime, and Chickens for Shabbos hosted an emergency T’hilim gathering for the community at Congregation Khal Nachlas Yitzchok on behalf of Rabbi Moshe Neuman, Dean Emeritus of the Bais Yaakov Academy of Queens.
On Sunday afternoon, April 3, Congregation Etz Chaim hosted a special speaker, Rachel Sharansky Danziger, daughter of Anatole and Avital Sharansky, famous Russian refuseniks and human rights activists. This was the second of a three-part virtual lecture series. Rachel Sharansky spoke about the role of storytelling in redemption.
On Sunday evening, April 3, Rabbi Yoni Fischer, Rosh HaYeshivah of Yeshivas Matisyahu in Eretz Yisrael, spoke on behalf of Let’s Get Real With Coach Menachem.

On Thursday evening, March 24, Chazaq, Agudath Israel of Kew Gardens Hills, and the Yeshiva of Central Queens hosted a memorial event for Rav Chaim Kanievsky zt”l.
