Short Answer: According to most poskim, this is forbidden. However, some poskim permit learning all areas of Torah to women nowadays, including in-depth learning.

Short Answer: While learning what you enjoy has special power, there are certain limits to this principle.

Question: What is a man’s basic obligation of Talmud Torah?

Short Answer: The basic obligation is to be “kovei’a itim” (to designate time) to learn Torah every morning and evening. Ideally, one should learn every free second.

Question: What are the parameters for a Yisachar-Zevulun deal?

Short Answer: Rav Moshe Feinstein zt”l held that the deal must be a true 50-50%, and that Yisachar must be a mature talmid chacham already. He also lists further requirements, as listed herein.

Question: What should a person do if he realizes on Shabbos Erev Pesach that he forgot to sell his chametz to a non-Jew?

Short Answer: It should be gifted to a non-Jew on Shabbos, but if that is not an option, most poskim do not allow for the chametz to be sold on Shabbos.
