Recap:  Aharon’s aunt and uncle have to leave during the blizzard, as his aunt’s father is ill. Aharon is home with his two young cousins. Mr. Slotkin appears, looking for Dr. Nathan. He has an emergency with his baby and asks Aharon to please come help, since he’s Dr. Nathan’s assistant. He leaves his nine-year-old cousin in charge and goes with Mr. Slotkin.

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to sit down and churn out an article that hopefully can help Queens Jewish Link readers.

Recap:  Shoshana follows Ruty, because she wants to understand why Ruty is telling her not to go home and meet the man whom she called. She follows her into a dilapidated house. There’s a mean person who is ordering Ruty and a girl named Barrie around. She hides in a closet in the kitchen. Then she escapes and runs to Penina’s house. Penina says Ruty is involved with a terrible gang called the Alligators. Shoshana leaves and goes to Ilana’s house. No one is home. She pulls out the journal to read.

I knew him well but had never met him in person. The first time I laid eyes on Jonathan Pollard was when I watched him slowly follow his wife’s body to the van that would transport her to the gravesite at the conclusion of her funeral at Har HaMenuchot Cemetery in Jerusalem.
