New York State corrections officers ended an illegal strike involving 15,000 workers across 36 of 42 state prisons, protesting unsafe conditions and the HALT Act. Governor Kathy Hochul announced a resolution after 11 days, mediated by Martin F. Scheinman with NYSCOPBA.
