Question: At what point must you affix mezuzos on a house that you purchase?
Question: Must a tenant who signs a one-year lease in America affix a mezuzah immediately upon renting his house or apartment?
Short Answer: Many poskim hold that the mezuzos should be affixed immediately, but the brachah should only be recited after 30 days when the tenant removes and re-affixes the mezuzos.
Question: What brachah should be recited when affixing a mezuzah on your friend’s doorpost?
Question: Is it permitted to perform Shiluach HaKein on Shabbos?
Short Answer: According to most poskim, it is forbidden to perform Shiluach HaKein on Shabbos.
Question: On which birds may you fulfill the mitzvah of Shiluach HaKein?
Short Answer: Unless you know for sure that the bird does not have the signs set forth in the Shulchan Aruch for kosher birds, you should fulfill Shiluach HaKein.
