June ended with a series of high-profile rulings from the United States Supreme Court that drove many on the left side of the aisle – elected, commenting, or glued to social media – fuming. The so-called “progressives” don’t know what actual progress looks like, so they make arguments that sound so objectively racist you would think that the Democratic Party was back to its slaveholding, KKK-founding roots.

In the decade since I’ve begun teaching history at Touro College, which has since become a university with a new logo and headquarters, I’ve had plenty of time to think about its mission and name. Unlike many private universities, its namesake Judah Touro died more than a century before its founding, and none of his personal wealth had any impact on this university. Like any institution with a name, it tries to maintain some sort of a connection to that individual and highlight his contributions to this country.

So now, everyone should be asking: How involved was Joe Biden with Hunter’s pay-for-play schemes that have occurred for decades?

I am deeply disturbed by the Federal Highway Administration’s blanket approval of the Central Business District Tolling Program, also known as Congestion Pricing. New Yorkers cannot afford this $1 billion tax hike, which is being camouflaged as investment in the MTA – an unaccountable and untrustworthy steward of the public’s funds.
