This past week’s issue of the Queens Jewish Link made for a fantastic Shabbos read. Moshe Hill’s sneak preview of one topic in his upcoming book explaining the difference between self-hating Jews and Jewish self-hatred was enlightening. I am looking forward to the publication of his book.

Haters Gonna Hate

It seems that the anti-Semitic man who was seen screaming into a megaphone recently at Queens College has not received as much attention as he wanted. In an attempt to once again steal the spotlight, our resident neighborhood racist has struck once again, this time taking inspiration from anti-dementors all over the world. Walking out of Queens College, I saw the racist’s masterpiece littering the floor. I could not help but marvel at the effort put into this flyer. It was clear a talented graphic designer spent effort on it.
Scams

A week ago, I wrote about my experience with a mover’s scam. Since then, I have become aware of other pernicious scams that almost anyone can be subjected to.

We write as two graduates of Yeshiva University’s undergraduate school and law school, who pray together at the same minyan during weekdays and who have differing views on many current issues facing the American people.
