NCSY Fellowship Transforms Both Fellows and the Communities They Serve

It’s the dream of many NCSY advisors: to grow their communal volunteerism and leadership skills by becoming Shevet Glaubach Fellows (SGF). For the first time since the fellowship’s inception in 2019, more young men and women are realizing their goals via an expanded program that has placed SGF fellows in every one of NCSY’s 10 regions in 35 communities in North America.

 The GOP-led House voted to censure Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) for pulling a fire alarm in a congressional office building in September, with a final tally of 214-191.

“Anyone can count the seeds in an apple, but only G-d can count the number of apples generated from a seed.” As it produces, reproduces again and again, an infinite amount of fruit will grow.

Recap: Hope was hiding in a cave from the KKK men who were chasing her. She wasn’t feeling well, and she was there all night. She is very ill, and when she is better, she confides in Rebbetzin Jacobson that she is in trouble and running from the KKK. She doesn’t want to get the family in trouble. The rebbetzin says it’s their mitzvah and they are happy to have her.  

Recap: Hope stays at the Jacobsons and slowly recuperates from pneumonia. Diana and Bonnie come to visit, and Hope worries if anyone followed them. Bonnie is crying and doesn’t want to leave Hope.

 The House voted decisively to expel Rep. George Santos (R-NY) on Friday, following multiple federal charges, including aggravated identity theft, wire fraud, and conspiracy. The expulsion, requiring a two-thirds majority, passed with 311 representatives in favor, 114 against, and 2 present.
