Yeshiva of Central Queens Pre-K and Grade 3 students participated in “Healthy and Wise” with Morah Aliza. They read the books Germs vs. Soap by Didi Dragon and I Don’t Want to Wash My Hands by Tony Ross. Students designed their own masks and completed a word search.

Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan was celebrated with excitement and inspiration at Shevach High School. A special breakfast was coordinated by Shevach Educational Administrator Mrs. Devorah Kovitz, assisted by G.O. heads Miriam Shira Chanales, Nechama Feintuch, Kayla Hoch, Malka Neuman, and Leah Sdayeb.

Yeshiva Sha’arei Zion HS for Girls opened their doors this September in their building on Woodhaven Boulevard. Starting with 15 girls in their ninth grade, the new building has four classrooms and a student center/lunchroom on the second floor, and the school is geared up to open its newly renovated first floor, which includes a custom-built library lounge, Robotics and Engineering Maker Space, Art Room, and Science Lab.

The award-winning Hishtadeil Lihyos Ish Midos Program has begun, once again, at the Bais Yaakov Academy of Queens! On Monday, the midos were introduced with a brand new and entertaining play entitled, “Fiddler Off the Roof.” The humorous and exhilarating presentation was professionally performed by the talented BYQ moros to a captivated audience of grades 1-8.

The students at Yeshiva Sha’arei Zion enjoyed an engaging and immersive experience as they learned about the powerful benefits of therapy animals, during an in-school, school-wide show.

MTA’s recent 10^th-to-12^th-Grade Shabbaton was truly epic! The event was held at Camp Dora Golding and featured unbelievable activities, including sports, games, hikes, shiurim, and chaburos, barbecues, bonfires, and all-night sports tournaments.
