Chesed is a significant aspect of student life at the Yeshiva University High School for Girls (Central). Over ten service-driven clubs now exist at Central, and throughout the years, students have made countless mission trips both locally and internationally to bring aid to those who need it most.

If one stepped outside into the yard this past Monday, he would have witnessed a group of boys from Rabbi Jakubovics’ third-grade class last year at Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe enjoying a delicious gourmet barbecue luncheon. The tasty spread included classic favorites like juicy burgers, savory hot dogs, crisp pickles, golden fries, and refreshing Snapple drinks.

The Eretz Chemdah program at Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe is off to a wonderful start for the fifth-grade classes of Rabbi Levine and Rabbi Lisker. This innovative initiative allows the talmidim to connect with rebbeim in Eretz Yisrael via Zoom twice a month for engaging and interactive lessons. These live sessions explore themes such as k’dushas ha’aretz and mitzvos ha’teluyos ba’aretz, bringing the sanctity and unique mitzvos of the Land of Israel to life.
