This week at the Yeshiva of Central Queens, to help celebrate the month of Adar and to bring some spirit to a challenging school year, the elementary school students had superhero and sports hero day. Students and staff dressed as their favorite superhero or wore a sports jersey from their favorite team.
One of the staples of the Central experience is our Schoolwide Shabbaton. While we are still hopeful for the world to take a turn, and to gather again in a hotel one day soon, we did not let COVID-19 stop our fun and happiness with Adar rolling in: MiSheNichnas Adar, marbim b’simchah!
The SIMCHAH CIRCUS program at the Bais Yaakov Academy of Queens was a smashing success! The school building was transformed into a colorful circus, featuring elephants, clowns, lions, and so much more!
The Sisterhood of the Young Israel of North Bellmore is continuing its long tradition of sponsoring their Purim Shaloch Manot Round Robin. They have been doing this for more than 25 years.
We are so grateful that even in times of pandemic, hands-on laboratory science remains an integral part of our science curriculum at Yeshiva University High School for Girls. This week, two of our science classes engaged in hands-on biotechnology laboratory experiments at a full-day visit to the Dolan DNA Learning Center at Cold Spring Harbor.
