Registration is now open for the ninth Orthodox Union (OU) Savitsky Home Relocation Fair, which will take place on Sunday, March 3. The program was established in 2008, by then-OU President Stephen Savitsky. He and his wife, Genie, continue to generously fund the program, which now bears their name.

The Queens Village Republican Club presents its 149th Anniversary Lincoln Dinner, on Sunday, March 3, featuring Morton Klein, president of Zionist Organization of America (ZOA), who will be the keynote speaker and “Light Unto The Nations” honoree. Mr. Klein will speak on “The Survival of Israel, America, and Western Civilization.”

Inspired by the living legacy of Senator Joseph Lieberman as a model of faith and civility across the political aisle, Yeshiva University has established the Senator Joseph Lieberman-Mitzner Center for Public Service and Advocacy. Founded with a $10 million gift from YU’s Chairman of the Board of Trustees Ira Mitzner and his family, the program will educate the next generation of public servants and advocates, preparing and empowering students to improve the world through leadership on a local, national and international scale.   

The 7th of Adar was the day on which Moshe Rabbeinu was born, and also the day on which he died exactly 120 years later. Tzadikim were often given the ability to completely live out their years. It is written that Moshe passed away through the “Kiss of Hashem.”
