On Wednesday evening, September 18, Rabbi Dovid Goldwasser wowed an audience at Congregation Anshei Shalom in Jamaica Estates with a shiur on how to do tikun ha’nefesh (repairing the soul).
He stated that “we all need a lot of refurbishing before the Y’mei HaDin. Sometimes a person doesn’t know where to start.”
Rabbi Daniel Glatstein, mara d’asra of Kehillas Ahavas Yisrael in Cedarhurst, New York, a prolific world-renowned speaker with a global following, and one of the most popular speakers on Torahanytime.com, was urged by his students and listeners to create a book of his shiurim.
On Motza’ei Shabbos, September 14, Rabbi Moshe Meir Weiss spoke at Congregation Nachlas Yitzchok on the topic of not giving up. He began by lauding the organization Chickens for Shabbos. “It’s basics. It’s chayim.”
Mrs. Hadassah Waxman, Program Director of the Shiur HaChodesh, a monthly program of advanced shiurim for women by women, welcomed an overflow crowd to Congregation Etz Chaim for the first lecture of the season on Wednesday evening, September 18.
