On Motza’ei Shabbos, February 10, community members gathered at the Young Israel of Queens Valley for a beautiful melaveh malkah commemorating the second yahrzeit of Bryna Bracha Greenberg a”h. The elegantly decorated tables and the lovely music created a special ambience for the evening.
On Tuesday evening, February 6, community women gathered for the 39th annual Erna Lindenfeld Hachnosas Kallah Fund of Queens Tea at the Young Israel of Kew Gardens Hills. The Tea this year was in dedicated in memory of Mrs. Molly Listhaus a”h.

The first speaker, Charlie Harary, shared that the goal in watching sports is not the Super Bowl but it’s watching professionals compete at a high level to learn lessons we can glean.
On Motza’ei Shabbos, January 27, community members, community rabbanim, and alumni of Yeshiva Kesser Torah gathered for the annual Yeshiva Kesser Torah Melaveh Malkah to show hakaras ha’tov to the yeshivah.
What can we do to make a difference for our people in Israel? Baruch Hashem, our community is filled with people who care and take action. Mrs. Linda Cohen shared how she was recently listening to a radio show hosted by Nachum Segal when he posed a question: “Ten years from now, when our kids read about October 7, what will we tell them when they ask what we did to help?” She thought about this question.
