The Power of Ashrei

Yoducha Hashem kol maasecha, va’cha­sidecha y’var’chuchah

All your works shall thank you, Hashem, and Your devout ones will recognize that You are the source of all blessings.

Einei chol eilecha y’sabeiru, v’atah nosein lahem es ochlam b’ito.

The eyes of all look to You with hope, and You give them their food in its proper time.

Malchus’cha malchus kol olamim, u’memshalt’cha b’chol dor va’dor.

Your kingdom is a kingdom spanning all eternities, and your dominion is throughout every generation.

As we begin the Three Weeks Bein HaM’tzarim period, we are devoting the next two segments to the brachah of “R’tzei” in Shemoneh Esrei. The connection of this brachah to this time period will be clear. This would be a fitting time to place extra focus on this brachah in our daily tefilos, as well as the brachos of “V’liYerushalayim” and “Es Tzemach,” which we have focused on in previous years at this time of year.

Someich Hashem l’chol ha’noflim, v’zokeif l’chol ha’k’fufim.

Hashem supports all the fallen ones and straightens all the bent.
