The first graders of the Bnos Malka Academy were so excited to receive their first siddurim at their special Siddur Play. The event was the culmination of months of preparation and practicing, and the girls performed beautifully.
They each held a stuffed animal, which they used to practice K’rias Sh’ma Al HaMitah and HaMal’ach. The class sang songs together, accompanied by Morah Rena Greenberg, and each girl said her part beautifully. Their parents and teachers were so proud! Each girl received a special portrait of herself receiving her siddur. The parents, grandparents, and students enjoyed refreshments and a special Mazal Tov cake, sponsored by the Parents’ Association.
