Colors: Blue Color

Recently, the Pre-1A classes at Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe began their unit on brachos, starting with HaMotzi. The boys embarked on an exciting journey to learn about the amazing world Hashem created for us, focusing on how bread and challah are made.

Lev Chana continues to put an emphasis on Ivrit with Morah Judi. Students have the opportunity to speak in Hebrew and have shown their understanding of the Hebrew language through fun games and activities!

 

Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe’s first-grade talmidim celebrated a significant milestone: receiving their very first chumash. The event, held on Sunday morning, December 22, at Ner Mordechai/Shaarei Tova, brought together the boys, their rebbeim, parents, and grandparents for a momentous and heartfelt celebration.

Yeshiva Har Torah’s 36th Annual Scholarship Dinner was a spectacular evening celebrating our shared values, dedication, and community spirit. Held at the beautiful Old Westbury Hebrew Congregation, the event drew 750 attendees who gathered to honor our school and its supporters. With a theme saluting the heroes of the IDF, the evening reflected our admiration for their bravery and the timeless values we strive to embody at YHT.  In line with the theme of the evening, the stunning venue was enhanced by green and gold lighting, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal while connecting with fellow members of the YHT family.

The girls have been working in the Robotics elective class under the supervision of Mrs. Leah Striks in a program sponsored by CIJE. The team used the VexIQ program to strategize how to build a robot. Then, they worked together to adapt it to achieve the goals and tasks set up in the CIJE Robotics Tournament for Jewish middle school girls.

Mazal tov to YCQ’s First Graders on receiving their first siddurim! All the students performed beautifully and wowed those in attendance on Sundays, January 5 and January 12. Parents, grandparents, and relatives were so impressed with the confidence, enthusiasm, and knowledge that the talmidim and talmidos displayed.
