While most organizations would find themselves taking a well-deserved break after an intense campaign that successfully surpassed their fundraising goals, life has been busier than ever at Amudim, with the number of calls coming in and new cases opened hitting unprecedented levels since Unite to Heal made its way into the record books on December 20th.

A new year welcomes new doors. The City is prepared to roll up their sleeves so New Yorkers can roll up theirs for the shot.
Hillcrest High School was recently announced as the vaccination hub for our local healthcare workers. The plan to open local inoculation centers comes as New York lags far behind other regions in distributing the coveted COVID-19 vaccines. Mayor Bill de Blasio announced the plan to accelerate the vaccine distribution with centers in high density boroughs.
Recap: Mrs. Cantor redt a shidduch for Bayla, and Bayla doesn’t want to go through with it but he came for dinner. She told him she is going away for the summer so she can’t really start a relationship. Mrs. Cantor is upset at Bayla for doing this.
Recap: Harry Truman became Vice President. Bayla and Mimi are spending a lot of time with Gloria Jacobson and she’s becoming interested in Judaism. The girls are hopeful that the war in Europe may be ending soon.
