Seventy-eight years ago this week, David Ben-Gurion rose before the Asefat Hanivcharim, Palestine Jewry’s elected assembly, and delivered an explosive “j’accuse” against the Allies for abandoning Europe’s Jews during the Holocaust.
Kathy Hochul is gaining confidence as her campaign to be elected to a full gubernatorial term marches forward. With less than two months to go, Hochul is leading challenger Lee Zeldin by 5-15 points, depending on the poll. Hochul may think this gives her a mandate to act as tyrannical or corrupt as she pleases, but her hubris should be her undoing.

Kathy Hochul is on the campaign trail, and she is deciding who qualifies as a “real New Yorker.” In her mind, New Yorkers are docile, sheepish people who wait in breadlines for handouts and are desperate for direction and instruction. Anyone who can’t go along with her vision should simply get out of New York.
