“Terror, Faith, Hope” at Hadas Gallery in Brooklyn is a unique poignant collection of artworks from a wide range of artists that everyone should go see. The artists range from age 19 to age 75 and include religious Jews, nonreligious cultural Jews, chasidic Jews, and Jews from every background. The exhibit is curated by Abigail H. Meyer, an art historian, curator, and museum educator, with support from ATARA – the Arts and Torah Association.

 On Motza’ei Shabbos, December 7, an overflow crowd of shul members of Khal Nachlas Yitzchok, along with community members and community rabbanim, gathered at the Young Israel of Kew Gardens Hills to celebrate a 50^th anniversary melaveh malkah for Khal Nachlas Yitzchok.

On Sunday night, December 1, The Young Israel of Holliswood hosted a virtual Rosh Chodesh Kislev women’s shiur. Professor Shoshana Schechter, Associate Dean of Torah Studies at the Stern College for Women and the director of the Mechinah Program at the college, shared an uplifting beautiful shiur titled “Am Yisrael Chai: Covenant, Connection, and Continuity.”

On Wednesday night, December 4, Moshe Hill, political analyst, writer, and columnist for the Queens Jewish Link, shared an enlightening virtual talk on behalf of the Rabbi Fabian Schonfeld Adult Education Center.

On Tuesday evening, November 26, Rabbi Yaniv Meirov, CEO of Chazaq and Rabbi of Congregation Charm Circle, introduced Rabbi Yaakov May, former menahel of Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe, for Chazaq’s Tuesday Torah Talks virtual program.

On Tuesday evening, November 19, Navigating the Medical System featured a virtual lecture on heart failure, hosted as always by Congregation Etz Chaim.
