Do you sometimes feel as though something is wrong with you, but you’re not quite sure what or why? Perhaps you feel as though you don’t “belong” or that your feelings don’t truly matter to anyone. We all yearn to be loved and even protected.

Would you describe yourself as happy? Do you know the formula for happiness? Let’s explore some habits that can make you more joyous. Deciding to be satisfied may not be an uncomplicated, serene process for some of us.

You may think of yourself as someone who is just being honest. But do you complain or criticize too often? Do you grumble and gripe incessantly about the state of the world? Perhaps you find yourself talking about how great things were “back in the day.” Speaking of which, back in my day, people used to take photos with other people in them. Sure, we all had a playroom growing up. It was called “outside.”

Do you know what truly matters to you? We naturally care about others, but believe it or not, caring can go too far. It can end up making too many demands on your relationship. Unfortunately, it can become an obsession or cause amplified anxiety or worry. Trying to always “be there for her” may end up negatively impacting your emotional stability.

Sometimes it’s hard to brush off others’ comments about you. I know: You can even go so far as to let her opinion dictate your life choices. Fear of disapproval is universal, sweet friends. Trying to live up to his expectations can place an enormous weight on your shoulders.
