The Yeshiva of Central Queens (YCQ) proudly marched in the annual Israel Day on Fifth parade with over 400 enthusiastic participants, including students, faculty, parents, alumni, and board members. Traveling on 11 buses, the YCQ community brought incredible ruach and energy to the streets of New York, standing united in their unwavering support for Israel. A special thank you to Ms. Danit Abishour for her dedication and leadership in making this memorable day possible!
Students at SINAI at Yeshiva of Central Queens had the opportunity to debut their works of art at SINAI’s Unique Inspirations Student Art Show, sponsored by Bear Givers, on May 7 at a private Queens home.
Exciting things are happening at Bnos Malka Academy in Kitah Gimmel! The talmidos started a new k’riah program using Sefer T’hilim, and they have already made so much progress. “There are many benefits to this program, such as building Hebrew reading fluency and, of course, becoming familiar with the words of T’hilim,” said Dr. Babad, assistant principal for grades K–4.
After a thrilling chagigah on Friday featuring Rambam Rebbi Emeritus, Rabbi Ari Boiangiu, the Lag BaOmer festivities continued on Monday with two schoolwide trips.
At Tal Academy, something magical is brewing. And no, it’s not in the science lab. The school has just launched the Great Brachos Contest of the Year, and it’s turning lunchtime into a brachos bonanza.
