On Tuesday, November 29, the Yeshiva of Central Queens welcomed Moshe Cohen, LCSW, to YCQ. He presented information to our Grade 7 and 8 students on responsible technology use.
With Chodesh Kislev upon us, Rabbi Pollak’s fourth grade class at Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe looked back on their accomplishments thus far. The talmidim have completed two p’rakim of mishnayos B’rachos and have nearly completed Parshas Sh’mos.
On Thanksgiving morning, MTA talmidim woke up for a day off from yeshivah. However, it was certainly not a day off from serious learning. MTA rebbeim gave shiurim on Thanksgiving morning in many of the communities in which talmidim reside. From West Hempstead to Monsey, Brooklyn to Bergenfield, and several more, MTA talmidim and parents were able to enjoy a morning of Torah and t’filah together to start off their day off on the right foot.
The annual Stella K. Abraham High School for Girls Israel alumni reunion is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year.
HALB 8th grade participants in Names, Not Numbers took a trip to the Museum of Jewish Heritage: A Living Memorial to the Holocaust. Students gained more of an understanding of what happened during the Holocaust in preparation for their interviews with Holocaust Survivors.
