The Purim Spirit is felt all over HANC ECC West Hempstead! All the classes are busy preparing mishloach manos, painting and decorating graggers, and modeling costumes. All of the children were prepared with their graggers as they Zoomed with Dovi Zurndorfer’s dad as he leined the Megillah for HANC ECC.
The Middle School students at the Bnos Malka Academy have been busy learning, researching, and presenting. The fifth grade students researched different states in the USA. After doing extensive research, the students wrote research papers and created beautiful triboards. A gala event was held where students in fourth and second grades came to view the state boards and learn about our country.
HALB Second Graders received their Chumashim on Sunday. On Monday, HALB students and staff showed their school spirit as they celebrated Yom HALB to kick off the week of Purim! #wearehalb
HAFTR Middle School has been busy during our Health Month. We began by focusing on our physical health the first week and then learned about our mental health the next week. This past week, we focused on our spiritual health. We had brachos parties in each individual class.
There were so many amazing costumes at this year’s Purim Madness Game at Yeshiva Sha’arei Zion! The younger boys played in a dodgeball tournament, the older grades played a basketball tournament, and the rebbeim played basketball against the Eighth Grade!
